DETOX TIME

MasterCleanse.jpg

I've found that periodically it's beneficial to do a cleansing #detox. Especially if you've been indulging in less than healthy foods and alcohol, which I've been doing the past few weeks. It's day 3 of of my 10 day Master Cleanse and I've made it through the first few days which are the hardest. I must say my patience and tolerance levels were at their lowest those first days. So, if you try this, I suggest you start on the weekend when you can just relax and decompress. I made the mistake of starting on a Friday when I was in the midst of a busy work day...not a good idea lol. All you need are organic lemons, organic maple syrup (they no longer make Grade B, now it's called Grade A in the dark, amber color), cayenne pepper, spring water, and Smooth Move tea. Some people do Salt Water Flushes every morning. I tried that once and it was too extreme for me. Basically, it's an oral enema...and trust me you will need to be near a bathroom for at least 3-4 hours after drinking it....meaning several trips to the bathroom! Lol!! I do suggest soaking in Epsom salt baths every night, which are detoxifying and relaxing.  You will feel so good and sleep like a baby!!

Master Cleanse Recipe:

2 Tbsp fresh, organic lemon juice

2 Tbsp organic maple syrup

1/10 tsp cayenne pepper

Spring water

Combine the juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper with 8 oz of water. You'll then have 10 oz of lemonade. Drink 6-8 glasses every day. And each night drink a cup of Smooth Move Tea.

When the 10 days are up, you have to go back to eating in stages. Stay Tuned for how to come off the cleanse.  #cleansing #healthylifestyle
